La imagen homosexual en el cine mexicano

Abstract

This research report is intended to present the results of the project entitled "The stereotypical image of male homosexuality in Mexican cinema of the 80´s". By semiotic analysis of the film Doña Herlinda y su hijo (1984, Jaime Humberto Hermosillo). This analysis was carried out with the tenets of Charles Sanders Peirce, focusing on characters, music, and social environments.
