Diagnosis of safety conditions in the Ecotourism Park: Bosque de las Truchas, regarding the Official Mexican Standard PROY-NOM-011-TUR-2018.
Abstract
Huasca de Ocampo is Mexico's first magical city and one of the most beautiful. In this playground, children can have fun in the pool, splash pad and slides. In addition, in the Bosque de las Truchas you can find a zip line almost 900 meters long. where on August 3 a traffic accident was reported that injured three children aged 9, 14 and 16. In the official social networks of the online media "Hidalgo" circulates the news, which details that the victims had to be transferred to a hospital to receive specialized medical care, although it is not specified how the accident occurred; the minors relate that, When climbing the rope, they collided with each other. Yes, which caused injuries due to impact and speed. The incident was reported to the emergency services, the victims were immediately provided with the necessary assistance, the minors received first aid on site and after stabilizing their condition were transferred to a hospital to receive specialized medical attention. One of them was taken to the city of Pachuca, and the other two to a private hospital in Mineral de la Reforma. This incident prompts us to conduct an investigation based on the PROY-NOM-011-TUR-2018 standard "Safety, Information and Operational Requirements to be Fulfilled by Adventure Tourism Service Providers" and its compliance at Trout Forest.
Currently, in the state of Hidalgo, accidents have occurred due to the lack of safety and compliance with institutional norms and guidelines in tourist destinations such as Huasca de Ocampo, Ixmiquilpan, Mineral del Chico and Santiago de Anaya (National Development Plan Hidalgo, 2013- 2018).
