Can you identify the bankruptcy of a company?
Abstract
The investigation consisted of carrying out an analysis to determine if there is a risk of bankruptcy in four large manufacturing companies, which are Grupo Herdez, Grupo Bimbo, Gruma and Grupo Lala, using the model proposed by Altman, and taking the financial statements from the data from Yahoo-Finance, during the years 2018 to 2021, finding that two of them have no bankruptcy problems, another is very close to beginning to enter the risk zone and one more than in two periods was at very high risk levels bankruptcy.
