Abstract

This test clearly explains the tandem model, the origin of this model, as well as its application in foreign language learning. For tandem language learning, different applications are used that allow users to learn different languages ​​such as English, French, German, Italian, etc., this is achieved through conversation with people whose native language is what It wants to learn. Among the applications most used by people for teaching tandem languages ​​are: HelloTalk, Speaky, Tandem Language Exchange, Hi uTandem and Lingvu to name a few.

The technologies have had a great impact on the tandem model since at the beginning of its applications it was not possible to do it internationally because there were no tools needed to communicate with another country anywhere in the world. The only way to use this model was to have a person nearby, but nowadays it is already possible to do it internationally thanks to the help of applications such as those mentioned above.
