Abstract

The present review analyzes the work "Human capital and innovation in the energy industry. Case study of successful national companies ", which highlights the activities and decisions taken by the hydrocarbons companies Petrobras, Ecopetrol, Statoil and Sonangol. The base of success of these companies has been the development of human capital, the mixed economy of public and private investment, as well as the strategic alliances with other national and international companies. These companies have excelled in the energy sector, innovating and applying sustainable measures.
