Abstract

Within the framework of the Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education (RIEB), the Ministry of Public Education published the series of tools for evaluation in Basic Education, with the intention of benefiting teachers' reflection on the formative approach of the evaluation process. Due to the above, this document is a review of an electronic book, published in Mexico in 2013, on evaluation strategies and instruments from a formative approach, in which the pedagogical principles of a study plan are taken as a basis, specifically evaluating to learn, which contributes to the achievement of learning. Various evaluation strategies and instruments are presented in accordance with what is established in the study programs and their advantages and disadvantages are exposed, it also identifies what allows each of them to be evaluated.
