Development of a psychometric instrument for the evaluation of the level of physical-emotional exhaustion of the nursing staff of a health institution in the State of Hidalgo during the current pandemic
Abstract
The SARS-Cov-2 appeared, in December 2019, in the city of Wuhan located in the province of Hubei, China. Then it spread to all the continents of the world causing a pandemic. Currently Europe and America are, in this moment, the most affected areas.
Nursing professionals constitute the main element of health teams, and in many places in our region, they are the first, and sometimes the only human resource in the first contact with patients and communities. During the course of the COVID-19 pandemic in our country and state, the leadership of the nursing staff has been key in the development of fundamental care processes for the response.
