Commercial Relationship between Mexico and Canada 2000-2018
Abstract
It was analyzed the behavior of commerce between Mexico and Canada to the changes that have had the total production of both countries, its population and the effect of distance during the years 2000 to 2018 through a gravitational model developed by the method of Ordinary Least Squares. The Gross Domestic Product presents a positive relationship with the commercial flow, while the distance indicates an inverse relationship, which coincides with the theory that if there is greater distance between countries, less will be the commerce. The population of Canada indicates that its production is diversified, while that of Mexico suggests that it is a specialized production.
