Health diagnosis of the El Saucillo Subdivision, in the Municipality of Mineral de la Reforma in Hidalgo
Abstract
Introduction
Through health diagnosis of a community, it is possible to know the conditions of life and thus implement various measures to increase the health of communities.
Methods and materials
A health diagnosis was performed through a transversal, descriptive, observational study to identify damage to health, social determinants and organized response in El Saucillo town, located in the state of Hidalgo.
Results
230 homes were visited. In this community live mostly women 51.2%, minors account for 11.4%, and older adults 4.6%, all citizens have the basic services and therefore they cover their need, however it calls attention that this community is not immune to the national epidemiological picture, where the leading causes of morbidity are hypertension and diabetes.
Conclusions
The health diagnoses are imperative to identify risk factors and protective factors, as well as activities advocacy and prevention of health.
