Abstract

Today, a historical stage is being lived, the presence of the new coronavirus caused a turn in everyone's life, thus causing a physical and emotional imbalance in people, which causes the presence of various diseases, alterations and / or disorders, such as It is the case of nosophobia that is well known as the irrational fear of contracting a serious disease in this case Covid-19 (infectious disease caused by the coronavirus), it is true that the numbers increase, whether of infected and deceased, On the other hand, mental health is a fundamental part that has been affected and the health sector has not treated as it should be, people present symptoms of nosophobia and hypochondria derived from the confinement that is currently experienced, but not in all cases People can stay at home, many must continue to fulfill their job responsibilities, therefore the fear of getting infected increases, that is why the presen has been created. This research will focus on investigating the characteristics, symptoms and repercussions on people's daily lives due to the pathology known as nosophobia in the communities of Atitalaquia and Tlaxcoapan located in the state of Hidalgo using an instrument created and standardized by the authors , that initially a sample of 34 subjects from the municipalities of Atitalaquia and Tlaxcoapan was taken with a simple probabilistic sampling, aged 17 to 44 years. In order to be able to correlate and know whether or not there is a relationship between the presence of symptoms of nosophobia and the pandemic caused by covid-19.
