Code of ethics for a custom broker reflection

Abstract

Ethics is a topic of huge importance in the professional profile of a customs agent. Its philosophy must have strong foundations due to the nature of the task and job this person does. He/she manages the flow of goods, people, or any merchandise etc. in and out of a country at customs. An ethics code says what should be this individual’s behavior and its sanctions if said code is not followed or broken. This contribution meets the purpose of enlightening the readers that are interested in said topic and provide a foundation for future investigations. At the end of this investigation there is a diagram that expresses the most relevant aspects of this subject put together and was made with an online graphic design tool called Canva.
