Abstract

Aural skills are an essential part of the training that professional musicians should include to develop their job properly. These skills are related to the ability to sight-singing a score and transcribe it using the proper musical notation. Traditionally, these skills are taught in the first years of musical training and their practice is expected to continue over the formation of the musician, raising the level of complexity to achieve a state of mastery of these skills.
