Abstract
Traditionally musical works that are addressed in music education are part of the Western classical repertoire. This prevents students to have direct contact with other musical cultures and contemporary music. By creating this barrier, future musicians can create misconceptions about these musical expressions that do not know them fully. As a way to remedy this situation, the inclusion of other than those belonging to the classical repertoire from early music training room is proposed.
