Diagnosis on school motivation in engineering students

Abstract

Motivation is an intangible element, but of great importance within the learning process and that affects the performance of students, which is why it is necessary to know the motivation of students to implement actions and strategies that benefit their academic performance and get better results. This document shows a diagnostic report on extrinsic and intrinsic school motivation, by means of a Motivational Assessment of the Learning Process (EMPA) questionnaire, to a group of engineering students.
