Abstract

This paper refers to the state of contemporary art and focuses on the analysis phenomenological of Guggenheim Museum Bilbao’s fog sculpture and her maker, Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya. The digital art and new technologies as used in this sculpture, allow experience art differently, be part of the installation, and interact with the work. The sculpture fog, FOG, is formed and decays steadily, acquiring various forms according to environmental conditions and time of day, produce different feelings in the viewer.
