Tourist System of the Real del Montes’ Magical Town, Hidalgo, Mexico
Abstract
This work presents the tourist system of the Real del Montes’ Magical Town, Hidalgo, which is made up of the goods and services actually placed on the market, the tourist product and the tourist plant. The proposal presented is based on the Tourism System of Boullón (1985). Real del Monte is a highland town located in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. This is known for its rich mining past, for its mansions and English air constructions are combined with the smell of wet grass and its fresh scent of flowers, while the cold and the fog comes in the afternoon covering the chimneys of the old mines and the tall pines of the cemetery. This town was incorporated into the Magic Towns’ government program in 2004. As a result of this appointment, tourism in Real del Monte has had a notable increase in the economic flow and in the number of tourists visiting the place. Hence, it is important to show the elements of the infrastructure, structure and tourist superstructure in this municipality.
