Abstract
More than a year has passed, since on March 11, 2020, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization announced that the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) could be characterized as a pandemic . The scientific community has turned to studying both the virus and the disease, as well as the social and economic problems that the pandemic has caused.
As a society, we continue to be challenged to understand the world after the pandemic. Not only modifying our personal behaviors, but our attitude as a community. The World Health Organization itself issued a series of recommendations so that the population ignores rumors about the ways in which COVID-19 spreads, as well as alleged treatments and cures for this disease. The WHO itself published a guide on how to report erroneous information circulating on social networks. The global vaccination process continues to advance, but the world still has the challenge of being a fairer place, where all countries have the same opportunities to access vaccines. This must have been a year of many teachings.
