CSR: From Integrative Theory to stakeholders

Abstract

Companies have begun to recognize themselves as social entities capable of influencing but also of being influenced by the environment in which they operate; This awareness gives way to the introduction of Corporate Social Responsibility in the activities of organizations; with this, the integrative theory that indicates that the company must consider the needs of its interest groups or stakeholders to continue developing in markets with new visions and concerns. Due to the above, the integrative theory and with it, interest groups have drawn the attention of researchers and businessmen, changing the traditional vision of economic units, incorporating social work as part of their daily lives
