Magical Towns: speeches and realities, a look from public policy and governance
Abstract
A public policy strategy in the tourism sector in Mexico was the so-called the Pueblos Mágicos (Magic Towns Program) and eighteen years after its implementation, the economic, socio-cultural and environmental impact has not been fully reflected in the locations benefited with this appointments, and that is far from the principles which was conceived by the Secretary of Tourism, therefore, it is important that the analysis of public policy from its formulation, implementation and evaluation so that it has fulfilled its objective of solving a public problem public, in an economic benefits of a public tourism intervention with governance characteristics in these localities.
