Preparation of golden milk with almond base
Abstract
In recent years, in Mexico, there has been an increase in the consumption of industrialized products, which are saturated with a large amount of sugars, these in turn replace those with a higher nutritional value (fruits, vegetables, dairy products and meats).5,6 These factors represent a risk against the increase of presenting diseases such as overweight, diabetes and hypertension.7 But we can also find foods with a great nutritional value, as is the case of the golden milk drink to which They attribute nutritional properties to it due to the ingredients with which it is prepared. One of these ingredients is turmeric, which has known anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties; It is a food rich in vitamins such as C, A and D, minerals and is the ingredient responsible for the characteristic color of this preparation.
