Preparation of zamorano chongos

Abstract

Zamorano chongos are considered one of the emblematic desserts of Mexican cuisine, specifically in Zamora Michoacán, their elaboration dates back to the arrival in Mexico of cows brought from Europe and the production of milk during the viceroyalty, product of the search for the conservation of milk by means of curds that later became cheeses, this dessert suggests the culinary tradition that the convents inherited from us and that continues to this day.
